Bio

Saiyam is a SAG-AFTRA associated actor based in New York City. He’s a graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study where he studied Postcolonial Theory in Visual Culture, specifically through the lens of storytelling. Saiyam has spent several years studying the Meisner technique, and now continues his training with Jose Joaquin Perez and at UCB comedy.

Saiyam has a diverse dramatic and comedic range of work. He recently wrapped up playing Arvind Patel in Madhuri Shekhar’s play, Queen, at the Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. Saiyam has also appeared on popular television shows such as Blue Bloods, The Sinner, FBI: Most Wanted, The Hunt with John Walsh, and has worked on several short films. You can also catch him on the MIRL Webseries!  Furthermore, he’s acted in commercials for HBO’s House of the Dragon, ESPN Sportscenter, UNTUCKit, UPS, Spectrum, NICE Systems, and many others.

Saiyam brings with him a dynamic fusion of both American and Indian culture. He’s passionate about diverse storytelling that highlights the voices of immigrants and people of color. He’s also a dancer with a background in Hip-Hop, Bollywood Fusion and Bhangra.
